This connector will help you encrypt and decrypt strings. It is particularly useful to encrypt a password and then put the encrypted string in the variable section of AWE. Then every time you want to use it, you can use the decrypt action. 

We recommend storing the "Salt" as a constant as well, so it's not recorded in the script.
